Dr. Chen has been practicing dentistry in Orange County for over 20 years since he graduated from USC, School of Dentistry in 1992, with honors. A leader in implant dentistry and laser technology, Dr. Chen equips his practice with the most advanced dental lasers and diagnostic equipments in order to deliver the highest standard of care to his patients.
Dr. Chen has an intense passion for dentistry and perfection. As a graduate of the prestigious LVI in advanced dental studies, Dr. Chen is continually educating himself and his staff on the latest techniques and approaches to provide his patients with state-of-the-art, comfortable and personalized dental care. Orange County Dentist, Michael J Chen, DDS specializes in cosmetics, dental implants, BioLase laser as well as anxeity-free dentistry with sedation. Sixteen years ago, his office is one of the first in Orange County to incorporate the use of WaterLase laser technology. Today, his practice is one of the few in Orange County currently capable of providing the revolutionary cone beam CT service to its patients.
Dr. Chen is the most gentle, caring doctor you could ever find. He treats his patients like family members and strives to give them the best care possible. Many patients,after moving out of California, are even willing to fly back to Orange County to see him because he is the only one they trust for their dental needs.
Dr. Chen has resided in Orange County ever since he first opened his practice. His family supports music and athletic departments within the Irvine community and has supported the Boy Scouts of America for years. He and his wife have two sons in college who are both Eagle Scouts, athletes and musicians. Dr. Chen is tech savvy and enjoys going to concerts and sport games.
